How to Vote

If you are 18+ and a Canadian citizen, you can vote using one of the following options:

Advanced Polls (Sept 10-13)

Open from 9am to 9pm for four days, advanced polls are typically the best way to vote due to low wait times and long hours. You do not need a special reason to vote early.

Mail (Apply by Sept 14 at 6PM)

If you reside outside of your riding, cannot easily get to a polling place or would prefer a contactless option, mail-in ballots are available. Be sure to mail them back ASAP.

Open from 7am to 7pm, the highest number of voting locations are open on election day. Even if you aren't registered, Elections Canada staff will be able to help you vote as long as you bring identification.

If receiving a ballot by mail is not easy and the other in-person voting options aren't ideal, you can visit any of the 500+ Elections Canada offices to cast your ballot.
